millenium pp2b mod revisited
I had a question regarding the step-up transformer in my pp2b mod and I was curious if my claims would somehow substantiate. Well, nothing beats a lab.
The function generator has 50 Ohms output impedance and I measured the gain with the PCM-D50 as it displays the level numerically in 1 dB steps. I found the gain to be 11dB, somewhat less then 12dB, exactly as expected. Now a typical output impedance of a mike would be 150 Ohms but a quick check with the calculator tells me that it doesn't make much difference.
I also did a frequency check.
Good enough for me, I have no intention to beat 'Deutsche Grammophon'.

| 35 | -11 |
| 63 | -11 |
| 125 | -10 |
| 250 | -10 |
| 1000 | -10 |

| 16000 | -10 |
| 18000 | -10 |
| 20000 | -10 |
