The type is BEM003 and it was part of a range of kits that were sold during the sixties.
I once had a generator from that series, the generator is long gone but I still have the manual.

Unfortunately dates are nowhere to be found in these documents.
There is not much to be found on the history of this company which in its haydays employed over 5000 people. The 'integration' in the Philips group already started in the late fifties and by 1982 the integration was complete and the name MBLE disappeared completely.
