maiden voyage

Today I used the QU16 for the first time. All went well but it is a change coming from a classic mixing console. As you cannot simply reach for a knob to adjust a feed,  you have to look twice before touching anything. The plus side is that you get used to it very quickly.

The recording feature works well but I like to stop and start frequently to keep file sizes manageable and also as a safety measure and this takes a very long time (many seconds). On the DR680 this is almost instant.

For now I'm happy with it as it seems to easily deliver what I expect from it.
