qu16
After a lot of pondering I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Allen & Heath QU16.
And boy this thing is heavy, like really heavy, well 10 Kg but we're so used to plastic junk that we forgot how heavy steel is...
As I want to use it for recording I got myself a 'WD elements' portable disk. It seems to work.
It's a bit funny, the routing for the recording is before any processing. This means that only the channel gain setting is involved and also: no limiter or high-pass filter. Maybe I can use it and try to make a stereo mix on location as this is recorded as well.
