studer A727
Nothing exciting about this CD player (other than that I not everyday throw studer gear in the bin) There is nothing interesting to salvage, there is a hefty motor in it but i'm not into robots or model toys. .
I almost tossed it in the bin* without giving it further thought but then it occured to me that it has balanced outputs. That circuitry would probably be on a separate board. And sure it is, it is mounted on the side panel.
Obviously I salvaged the board.
I fetched the manual from the studer ftp site. It is completely stand-alone. Level shifting + transformer coupled line driver.

Now this begs to be put in a box.
*: not the household bin of coarse!
