scheepsdale part 1

This bridge is soon to be destroyed to make place for a bigger one. The bridge is located on the N9 and crosses the canal to Oostende. The bridge dates from 1932 and is the oldest surviving 'Vierendeel' bridge.

This control room used to be 'manned' but the the bridge is remote controlled since many years.
